     IPS e.max is a modern and innovative system which covers the entire spectrum of all-ceramic indications ranging from thin veneers to 10-unit bridges.

IPS e.max allows you to offer your patients impeccable esthetic restorations, which are also characterized by high mechanical strength.

Depending on the case at hand and the required strength, you can choose the most suitable all-ceramic material. Lithium disilicate (LS2), which demonstrates superb esthetic properties, is used to restore single teeth in the anterior and posterior region. The zirconium oxide ceramic IPS e.max ZirCAD, however, is the material of choice for large restorations, for example, posterior bridges, which are exposed to high masticatory forces. The fact that a standardized veneering ceramic is used will benefit your combination work (lithium disilicate and oxide ceramics).

Furthermore, IPS e.max crowns and bridges can be placed using not only adhesive, but also self-adhesive and conventional techniques.

Now with IPS e.max, creating all-ceramic restorations offering true-to-nature properties has never been easier or more predictable.  IPS e.max is manufactured by Ivoclar Vivadent.

IPS e.max Ceram is the highly esthetic layering ceramic for the entire IPS e.max system. It provides lifelike, highly esthetic results with true-to-nature light scattering and a balanced relationship between brightness and chroma.

Within the IPS e.max system, the veneering ceramic is the key to highly esthetic results, both on lithium disilicate (LS2) and on zirconium oxide (ZrO2). The advantages are an exact shade match and a single, universal layering diagram. Moreover, all restorations veneered with IPS e.max Ceram demonstrate the same clinical behaviour, such as wear and gloss.

IPS e.max Ceram is available in Chromascop and A-D shades, as well as in 4 Bleach BL shades. In addition to the technically mature range of additional materials, the assortment is rounded off with the IPS e.max Ceram Gingiva shades for the fabrication of esthetic gingiva reproductions for all-ceramic restorations, particularly with implant superstructures.

As the press ceramic IPS Empress Esthetic and the new ceramic blocks IPS Empress CAD are based on the same materials composition, the two products demonstrate exceptional light-optical properties and strength values of 160 MPa. The highly aesthetic all-ceramic single tooth restorations, such as inlays, onlays, crowns and veneers blend in seamlessly with the surrounding dentition.

The 3M™ Lava™ system is an innovative and easy to use CAD/CAM system.  Lava crowns and bridges are made from zirconium oxide (zirconia) and are suitable for anterior and posterior applications of up to 4 units in length. The system offers a complete and comprehensive solution for your patients, providing ideal conditions for a consistent aesthetic appearance.

The Lava™ Crown and Bridge System: A precise match of aesthetics and strength.  Zirconium oxide combines natural appearance with high strength. 3M™ ESPE™ Lava™ Crowns and Bridges possess a translucent framework of high strength zirconium oxide.  The CAD/CAM manufactured framework can be matched precisely to the color of the patient’s teeth, its translucency mimicking that of natural dentine.

Excellent aesthetics with individually colored frameworks. The customised veneer ceramic Lava ceram builds onto this unique framework producing excellent results with a perfectly natural transition between veneer ceramic, framework and preparation margin at the tapered edge of the crown.

The strength to offer high quality bridgework in anterior or posterior regions.  Lava™ crowns and bridges offer one of the highest strength restorations to the dental industry.
